At the 2026 Annual Meeting of the Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce, Valoisa Media was honored with the Vinny deMacedo Small Business Award - and it still doesn’t feel real.

Five years ago, in the middle of uncertainty, Valoisa was just an idea with a name no one could pronounce and some pretty lofty goals. The timing wasn’t conventional. The path wasn’t linear. But what we had then — and what we still have now — was belief.

Belief that small businesses deserve to shine online.Belief that social media can be used with purpose.Belief that bright, strategic storytelling changes how brands show up — and how communities connect.

To receive an award named after Vinny deMacedo — someone known for leadership, advocacy, and championing small businesses — makes this recognition even more meaningful. And to receive it in a room filled with fellow entrepreneurs, partners, and community leaders from Plymouth County? That’s the kind of full-circle moment you don’t forget.

From Lofty Goals to Local Impact

When Valoisa started, the goals were big. Build something bright. Build something sustainable. Build something that helps other businesses grow.

Since then, we’ve:

  • Partnered with dozens of small and mid-sized brands across Massachusetts and beyond

  • Produced thousands of pieces of content

  • Built a powerhouse team of creative women

  • Helped businesses turn social media from “something we should probably post on” into a true growth channel

Entrepreneurship has been a wild ride — the late nights, the pivots, the hires, the lessons, and the breakthroughs. Team members who’ve come and gone. Clients who took a chance on us early. The women who stand beside Valoisa now and continue to raise the bar.

This award belongs to all of them.

Gratitude, Always

Thank you to the Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce for continuing to uplift small businesses. Shoutout to the incredible chamber team. Thank you to every client who has trusted Valoisa with their brand. And thank you to the women of Valoisa — the energy on shoots, the editing marathons, the strategy sessions, the laughter in between.

Valoisa is just getting started. ⭐ Even bigger news is coming soon.

It is truly a gift to help small businesses make a positive impact through social media — to take what they’ve built offline and give it a voice online.

And yes… PS: Get off social media. It will rot your brain. We mean it. 😘

(But if you’re going to be on it, let’s at least make it meaningful.)

Forever grateful.
